Take the Lead Dance Project

Students at Masterman High School spent a morning moving and shaking for a good cause. The junior class held a dance-a-thon to raise $1,500 for Take The Lead Dance project. They benefited from the program so much so they decided to pay it forward for the class of 2019.

Philadelphia Dance Foundation strives to address the needs of impressionable young adults. Through social dance, we teach that being ladies and gentlemen can have far reaching effects in both their personal and professional life. Students learn the importance of cooperation, respect, and self-confidence as well as fitness, coordination, and rhythm. It is a skill that anyone can learn and a sport that lasts a lifetime.

You can make a difference in the lives of high school students!

We are so excited for the launch of our first crowdfunding campaign via Razoo! We believe in providing high quality arts education programming for our young community and we need your help! Our goal is to raise $9,000 for this school year!
